So we did it. Spent some marvelous days in Istanbul. Got to know the non-tourist Istanbul too. Got some bad experience with noise, street merchants and stuff. But in the end this was good. Istanbul still remains a favourite of mine.

I had arthroscopy on Dec. 20th, all went well. So New Year’s resolutions should be almost all connected to mountains – Elbrus, hopefully some others, get fit, spent some more time working on my climbing technique (some alpinism lessons too), share some more in this blog, get to know more mountain people.
